Designers to Watch: Natalie+Sarah

Loving this collection that debuted a couple weeks ago as a part of the ‘New Generation’ show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. After reading the bio on the website, I am even more in love with the designers behind the self-titled brand. Natalie and Sarah met while in design school in Sydney. Upon completing school, they went their separate ways, but eventually found each other again and decided to merge their creative efforts into a fashion label.

The Natalie+Sarah aesthetic is edgy meets casual chic. Yet, it is VERY wearable.

I am looking forward to following the careers of these young ladies and their brand in years to come. I am definitely a fan.

Vintage DVF Sunnies

Adoring these lovely vintage Diane Von Furstenberg frames I found while thrifting the other day. This is the first designer accessory I have found during my thrifting adventures. I couldn’t be more thrilled since DVF is one of my favorite designers! Now the hard part…to sell? To keep? LOL…decisions, decisions…

Designers to Watch: ROOPA PEMMARAJU

“ROOPA PEMMARAJU is a luxury Ready-to-Wear line featuring the original artworks of renown Indigenous Australian artists on a canvas of ethically hand-woven Indian fabrics. “

The Roopa Pemmaraju Spring/Summer 2013-14 collection hit the runway two weeks ago at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. The colors, prints and textures are gorgeous, while the flowy fabrics lend an ethereal vibe. The ethnic, tribal inspiration lends a chic, yet daring element. Overall, this collection has me day dreaming about a tropical escape.
